Ann Dishong serves as the Executive Director at the Better Brain Project, where she oversees operations and manages a partnership with the Wake County Public School System, benefiting over 7,000 students annually. With 25 years of service to the State of North Carolina, Ann dedicated nearly 15 years to the Wake County Public Schools, managing several district-wide programs, including the K-12 Healthful Living program. Additionally, she held an executive role for ten years at the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Master of Arts in Education, and a Post-Master’s degree in School Administration. Additional contributions to academia include her past roles as a Senior Education Consultant at Duke University and an Adjunct Professor at East Carolina University.
